The School of Musical Theater is pleased to present the Masterclass with Michael Cothren Peña for male and female dancers, who, after staging the Italian production of Cats with Compagnia della Rancia, returns to Italy with Daniel Ezralow’s production of Open staged at Teatro Coccia in Novara on Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 23, 2014.

Michael grew up in Los Angeles and worked with Paul McCartney, Anastacia, Rihanna and Panic! At The Disco and is a choreographer for Disney. In 2014, he was Ezralow’s assistant choreographer in choreographing the opening ceremony of the Sochi Winter Olympics. In Italy, Michael has worked for Amici di Maria De Filippi, Festival di Sanremo and for Il mondo in un secondo tour by Alessandra Amoruso. For film and television he has appeared in Avatar, The Office, True Blood, Mad Men.
